INSOMNIAC MAGAZINE
EDITORIAL DESIGN
I thought of Insomniac Magazine as being an arts and crafts magazine that focuses on using those areas as a way to relieve stress. Each issue will feature an article/interview with a creative person or group who runs their own small business selling their own work. The rest of the magazine will have guides, articles, lists, etc. that focus on creative projects.
The target audiences for this project are creative people who are drawn to arts and crafts as a way to ease stress and escape from everyday life. It also targets artists running their own small businesses by having a spread each issue about people in that field. The audience includes a large range of ages from teenagers to seniors.

I started with the covers and created a design system and grid layout so that it would be a consistent look from issue to issue.
